when you're doing CPR they tell you to hum the soundtrack to saturday night fever. staying alive. hilarious right. not quite accurate neither. my experience you want to push that 4/4 time signature up to 140 beats per minute range. imagine the violent femmes covering the bee gees. do it in the field for seven minutes is like doing nine hundred pushups. why mention that I don't know but I'm humming that track right now rushing it like green day on speed. which is surely an oxymoron. anyway. I'm calling this hole in the cloud the velvet howl the 401 family not a cult but a writer's colony in the ether. safe haven for artists of all salt and stripe. junkies drunks rehab psych ward survivors welcome. I'm still fucking about with settings trying to make the whole screen black for instance and how to turn off spellcheck and toggle fonts all that internal pay no mind to that asshole behind the curtain nut and bolt shit. so I expect to be doing compressions for a minute. first official post or one with more bells and sparkles tomorrow jan 7 depending on which corner of the flat circle you're camped on. until then. peace.

The ending of this is purposely ambiguous, in that another writer could pick up with the next story from another character's point of view, Delphine could achieve either of the possible goals (or none of them), or anything in between. And it's kind of subject to change based on what the next story is or what the overall project needs from these characters. TL;DR: If the ending doesn't quite land with the project from a 30k-foot view, no worries, we ...
