I meant to say all you cats the velvet veterans the velvet survivors the ones who contributed to the warm bound anthology basically the folks who have already published a thing or two and don't need or want the workshop experience but still need the sounding board of a group that was the thing that made the Velvet so cool and I want you guys to feel free to post new or unfinished material shorts excerpts rough first chapters or poems that feel clunky the stuff that you can't get right but can't let go of post it here if you want the family to put eyes on it. within reason and the confines of the character slash word count limit here though it looks to me like you can also attach pdfs below. anyway it won't be the full workshop workup but you'll get the gut response first thoughts and bare bones comments upon read through from me.

re the 9 story hotel project.

in the coming days I'm going to post the specs photos and basics of the 9 story universe as I understand them plus a list of core characters that will be up for grabs if you want to use one as your narrator or primary. I don't reckon it's a problem if more than one of us say two or three of us tops choose the same primary but we might want to tag first dibs just to keep things organized and not repetitive and then hope you guys will start adding to those specs until we spin up a bible for said universe that everyone can use as touchstone or field guide. if you create your own primary be prepared to add his or her name specs skills backstory allegiances etc to the 9 story bible so the other writers can use them as side characters or antagonists in their stories if that makes sense.
